This Task Force safeguards U.S. firms' business interests as France reforms its broadcasting and telecom laws in the light of internal policies and EU Directives. Subjects include extending broadcasting regulation to non-linear programming, technological and service neutrality, legislation on "television of the future," fiber-to-the-home projects, consumer protection for cable and broadband subscribers, and privacy issues.
