Schools
AmCham France is a nexus for Franco-American educational issues and activities, especially, but not exclusively, in the economic and commercial area. We have an active Training and Education Task Force, coordinate educational policies with the French and US governments, and speak to numerous student groups on our mission, doing business in France and the European Union, and similar subjects.
Since we are a membership-funded organization with a small staff, these activities represent a major time commitment. Therefore, we have a policy that universities, colleges, and schools with which we work become members of AmCham France.
Our membership fees are as follows: Non-resident, Non-profit -- $500, Non-Profit, Ile-de-France -- €700, Non-Profit Regional (France) -- €400.
Membership benefits:
- One or two lectures to student groups per year, either by the AmCham Managing Director, members of the AmCham Training and Education Task Force, or executives from our 400 member companies.
- Use of our meeting rooms for free once a year, and discounts for additional dates.
- Listing of your institution, with a short narrative, in our annual Directory, which is distributed to about 1,000 US and French companies.
- Assistance in organizing tours of member company facilities.
- Invitations for your students and staff to our events when they are in Paris (about 100 events and speakers a year).
- Posting the resumes of students seeking internships in France on our internship exchange on the AmCham web-site.
- Participation in the Training and Education Task Force.
