Membership Benefits
Networking
AmCham organizes over 20 business networking events a year, such as New Members Cocktails, monthly "AmCham After Hours" gatherings, theme networking parties, and joint events with the US Embassy and other partner organizations. In addition, all substantive AmCham events build in networking time.
Lobbying
AmCham promotes a positive trans-Atlantic business climate through regular meetings with government officials, legislators, and other stakeholders. The Board of Directors and Task Forces formulate policy priorities and draft position papers which are presented to the authorities and media. In collaboration with the European Council of American Chambers of Commerce (ECACC), AmCham EU in Brussels, and the US Chamber of Commerce in Washington, AmCham France also influences EU and US policies.
Events and speakers
AmCham and its five regional chapters organize over 200
events and speakers a year. These include networking cocktails, speakers on business, economic, and political themes, specialized seminars, training sessions, and conferences. Speakers can range from French and US ministers to technical experts and cultural figures.
Task Forces
Members may participate in the
Task Forces that formulate policies and serve as a platform for lobbying, networking, interchange of ideas, and education.
Marketing
Members may use the historic 19th century AmCham reception rooms to present their company's products and services to other members and potential clients. President's Council logos are posted on the web site and in all publications, and members may use the AmCham logo. All service provider members are listed separately on the web-site.
Trade and Investment Facilitation
AmCham facilitates members' trade and investments working with partner organizations such as AmCham EU, the European Council of American Chambers of Commerce (ECACC), the Council of American States in Europe, the US Chamber of Commerce, and the Franco-American Chamber of Commerce network in the US. Under the ECACC "Mutual Benefits and Services" program, members have access to the services of 37 other AmChams in Europe.
Publications
Members receive the yearly
Directory of member firms, a unique reference and marketing tool, as well as the quarterly
Commerce in France Magazine, for which they may submit articles. Their companies' information and web sites are listed in the Directory and on the AmCham web-site.
Mailings and Invitations
Address labels and databases of all AmCham members are available to members at reduced cost, and can be sorted by different criteria. Members may partner with AmCham for events, profiting from the 3,000 entry AmCham data base...
