The American Chamber of Commerce in France had the pleasure of receiving Phyllis Borzi, Assistant Secretary of Labor of the Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA), for a small format exchange with AmCham members. The EBSA oversees approximately 707,000 private-sector retirement plans, approximately 2.5 million health plans, and a similar number of other welfare benefit plans that provide benefits to approximately 140 million Americans. Ms. Borzi, discussed current employee benefit issues as well as job creation strategies in France and in the U.S. with AmCham members.
